Day 1

Welcome to the Faroe Islands
- Arrival day

Upon arrival at Vágar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands where you will spend the next seven nights.

The scenic 40-minute drive includes passage through the country’s first subsea tunnel.

After check-in, you will have time to relax or explore the capital at your own pace and enjoy your first evening in Tórshavn.

Day 2

Vágar Island Experience

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel for a full-day excursion to Vágar Island.

We will begin with a hike to Trælanípa and Bøsdalafossur, two of the most iconic locations, where Lake Sørvágsvatn appears to float above the ocean.

Lunch will be served at Fiskastykkið, a well-known local restaurant with views of the fjord.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Múlafossur waterfall, which falls directly into the sea, and the village of Bøur, known for its turf-roofed houses and views of Tindhólmur and Mykines.

Day 3

Kalsoy

Today we travel north to Kalsoy Island, known as “the flute island” due to its many tunnels.

After reaching Klaksvík, we will take the ferry across the fjord and continue by road to the villages of Trøllanes and Mikladalur.

We will hike to the Kallur Lighthouse, one of the most photographed locations in the Faroe Islands.

And we will hear stories of the island and learn about the legend of "Kópakonan", the Seal Woman, whose statue stands by the sea.

In the afternoon, ferry back to Klaksvík and continue to Tórshavn.

Day 4

Mykines

An early departure takes you to Sørvágur, where you board the ferry to Mykines, the westernmost island in the archipelago.

Known for its isolation and rich birdlife, Mykines is home to one of the largest puffin colonies in the world.

During the guided excursion, we will walk along the cliffs and through the picturesque village of Mykines, enjoying green landscapes, seabirds, and spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean.

Return by ferry to Sørvágur in the afternoon and transfer back to Tórshavn.

Day 5

Gjógv & Klaksvík

After breakfast, we head north. Our first stop will be at Risin og Kellingin, two iconic sea stacks rising from the ocean.

We continue to the charming village of Gjógv, famous for its natural gorge and colorful houses.

After a walk in the area, we proceed to the Hvíthamar viewpoint, offering spectacular views over the Funningur fjord.

Later, we visit Klaksvík, the second-largest town in the country, and hike up Mount Klakkur for panoramic views of the surrounding fjords and islands.

Day 6

The secrets of Streymoy Island

Today we discover some of the most picturesque landscapes and important historical sites of the Faroe Islands.

We visit Saksun, a small village surrounded by mountains and a tidal lagoon, and continue to Fossá, the highest waterfall in the country.

Next, we head to Kirkjubøur, the historical and spiritual center of the archipelago. Here we explore the ruins of Saint Magnus Cathedral, the 12th-century church of Olavskirkjan, and Roykstovan, a farmhouse inhabited by the same family for 17 generations.

In the afternoon, we enjoy an exciting RIB62 boat excursion along the coast of Hestur Island, visiting sea caves and bird cliffs.

Day 7

Vestmanna & the Capital

After breakfast, we begin the day with a walk through the capital, Tórshavn. During the walk, we explore key sights, including the historic parliament area, home to the world’s oldest parliament.

After Tórshavn, we will travel to Vestmanna. From the harbor, you will take a boat tour to the Vestmanna cliffs, known for their basalt walls, sea caves, and seabirds.

After the boat trip, you will experience one of the most authentic moments of the trip: a visit to a local home, where a Faroese family will welcome you for a traditional lunch prepared with local products. This is a unique opportunity to learn about local customs, gastronomy, and everyday life in the Faroe Islands. An intimate and genuine experience that will allow you to feel like a local, even if only for a day.

Return to Tórshavn in the afternoon for your final night in the islands.
